They are sacrificing their "hair" to their God. Women will go to a place where people , "men" shave them bald, and then turn around and sell the hair to a place in New York City which is made into hair extensions for women in America. Women are paying anywhere from 3,000.00 U.S. dollars for this service which is not a one time shot , it has to be done over and over again.
This aired on Oprah the other day, and they played the footage back to some of the ladies who have been in worship shaving their heads for many years.
Now why would they think God would want them to do this? And to the women paying big bucks for this hair, would it make them feel different knowing this is what is being done to get the hair to them?
