I am using Outpost 2.5, and I also have Spy sweeper. For some reason Spy Sweeper causes Outpost to block outgoing connections. I think I saw in the past a solution on one of the forums. I can't find it. Can someone tell me what to do to get them to work in harmony? My solution thus far has been to turn Spy Sweeper off.
I am using Windows XP Home with SP2. When I disable Spy Sweeper the blocking of a broad band cable connection goes through with no problem. I stop getting a message that the ports are blocked, and that Spy Sweeper is writting to Outpost. Right now I have uninstalled Spy Sweeper. I think I may have solved the problem. I reinstalled Spy Sweeper, and I unchecked the other process control "Block network access if application memorywas modified by another process." So far so good. :)
