When xbmc runs out of memory and trys to open a database (which fails) it assumes its due to an old db version and deletes/attempts conversion which results in it being deleted.

I am quite sure memory is becoming an issue when searching the db. While viewing (and playing) the search results and changing the criteria and re-searching multiple times seems to induce this problem. Still trying to find a method to reproduce reliably or a workaround to prevent db deletion
