Just done a fresh new compile and it seems the python memory leak after running scripts is still there.
My memory drops from 40mb to 33mb, and does'nt recover, also the youtube script no longer works, but if you look in the scripts folder it say's it running.
Not sure if this is related to the memory leak of course ?
Will post a log tommorrow, off to bed now.........
I can confirm, in XBMC_PC. I can only launch a script once, the second time it crashes XBMC_PC.
Note to self, check for updates, if none type message, check for updates again, if none submit message.
Works great, thanks elupus, it was becoming a PITA debugging a script.
and on that note, I built rev 9099 and it has another issue, I've tested tetris and after 3-4 restarts of tetris, whole xbmc freeze with the busyanim showing
so not really easy to say if it still leaks mem
elupus commited a fix for this, rev 9103
just an idea, when you say "just made a fresh svn compile" next time please include which REVISION
yeh sorry i forgot to mention revision. ok just updated to revision 9103 this morning and the memory seems ok now. But youtube still don't work properly, it runs and you select something from the list, it then loads up the content but nothing happens ? no playback as such. will see if anyone else has this problem.
anyway thanks for memory fix.
