  • Oh Lord, I love to answer questions like these. The 60's and 70's (mostly the 60's) was the BEST time ever in music. There are icons, who were absolute geniuses who can never be replaced. Artists come and go today, but in the 60's, there were artists who came about who we still listen to everyday on the radio. These artists, geniuses, and absolute super stars are: The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Janis Joplin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Billy Joel, The Ramones, The Clash, Pink Floyd, I hope I didn't forget any. Best music ever.
