I hopefully going to study in New York City soon and i never been to New York but i hear alot of things from there.
I am not really a conifident person, and i am very shy, the reason i ask is because i just want to get prepared and i find it abit hard and lond to adapt in big places.
I hear it is the largest city in the United States, but is it easy finding your way around?
And i heard this actor say that everytime you get into a Taxi in New York, you are risking your life, then my sister said because taxi drivers can take you for hostage...Is That True?
i would like to know more information please.

NYC is a great place. Cab drivers are everywhere, they don't take people hostage, they are hard working people, just ike anyone else, yes, some are scary drivers but there are scary drivers everywhere, look at Rome or Paris. You should go to a website that tells you about all the great thing to do and see in NYC. Your personality will change and you will be better for being there.

If NYC was as bad as u say, all these people wouldn't be living there.
I don't live in USA but i've been to NYC. Its amazing.. (to visit). I don't think i could live there, but im envy in people who can. u just need to get used to it.
it's crowed, it's noisy, it's busy, it's where it all happens!
If you are a shy person like u say it won't be easy nowhere.. but don't worry.. you'll meet the right people and find your spot.
