two years ago I had a crown done on my right side. I relocated and my new dentist told me the crown did not fit my tooth correctly and it needed to be redone. So I returned to my old dentist and they repaired it for free. Now I am still having sensitivity with the tooth where they repaired the crown. I will go back to my new dentist and have him xray it. But if it is again not correct what are my options. Can I have him do the repair and then make my old dentist pay for it. Since they messed up the crown for a second time. I doubt it.....sometimes they don't work. I can't understand why that tooth is sensitive...to do a crown a root canal should have been done and there should be no feeling. I have a mouth full of crowns..and had root canals done on all of them. The tooth underneath might have gotten decay by now....and may need to that root canal and a post inserted. cdaexchange.com | Dental site:: Due to all the risks involved, clients may want to have the option of give you bigger discounted rates provided you use their network of dentists. http://www.cdaexchange.com/HOME |
I don't think the original dentist will have to pay for anything another dentist would do to correct the crown...unless you can prove negligence, which i don't think is the case here. You can go back to the first dentist and have him re-do it, without charge or use your new dentist to do the repair, whatever it may be and hope that it really isn't something inherent in your tooth...
