The only way someone can come to Jesus is if they are born of God.
The reasons are numerous but in my believe, I think the main reason is advanced civilization. People want to become more and more independent and science is contributing to this. I am not against scientific advancements but I believe it takes more than it gives. Families are not as united because we all have a tv and computer in our rooms, text messages are preferred over conversations, let alone emails and so on......all these busy, electronic lifestyle has taken away the desire to come to Jesus. Parents are not taking the time to teach their children about our Saviour and I strongly believe it all starts at the home. I see it frequently when I visit friends, have not been to church for months, too busy they say but when I observe, children are on the internet, husband watching the news about the recession, wife ordering pizza while text messaging her girlfriend about the latest gossip. Let's face it, we are heading for a sad future.
