I had a baby three months ago and have been having a few odd symptoms that I assumed were related to that. I went to the doc on Saturday and he said he thinks I have cervical cancer. I didnt have any tests or anything, that was just his opinion. I now have to wait at least two weeks to see a gyno and talk to him about it and get proper answers. But I am absolutely freaking out, its playing on my mind and I just dont know how to handle it. I cant stop crying and two more weeks of this will kill me.
I have had abnormal papsmears for the last 18 months, and have done a lot of research since Saturday. You do get symptoms of more advanced stages, most of which I have experienced over the last 8 weeks, hence the doctor saying cervical cancer.
Wot should I do?
You should ask the gynecologist that you're scheduled to see, if there is any possibility of you being put on a wait list to get checked in earlier. If this is a problem for you, you need to see someone sooner. Did I do the right thing? And what should I do now?:: Hi, no you didnt make a mistake. Youre not being ready is good enough excuse. Besides, she is not thinking clearly right now while her world is falling down around http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080419124618AAuGkCyHOME |
