What should I do to celebrate before my surgery?

  • I'm having surgery on my other foot next week and will be off my feet for 2 weeks and on crutches for 6-8 weeks. What should I do this weekend to enjoy myself before I'm bed-bound?

    I don't drink, smoke, do drugs or clubs so keep it clean please. Thanks.


  • LOL!!! i'm having surgery on my ankel on the 23 and will be on cruches for 1-2 weeks!! (your's sounds a lot more serious!) and at the same time i'm having surgery on elbow to get a screw taken out of my arm(from breaking it). Any who... I live in Utah so footbal games are big.... This weekend i'm going to a BYU football game and Staying at a condo down in park city for the weekend!!!

    Just do as much standing up stuff as you can!!


  • Bounce on trampolines.
    Walk places.
    Use your feet.
    Get a foot massage.
    Run somewhere.
    Hike.
    Stand up and sit down [repeat 10 times]
    Cartwheels.
    Jump of high objects.
    Skip.
    Hit some clubs and shake ya booty.
    Watch TV while balancing on one leg.

    Thats about all the ideas I can come up with.

  • Take a nice relaxing soak in a tub filled with hot water with lavender bubbles. Light candles and put them around the tub. Put on some nice music and have your husband massage you as you endulge in being pampered. I'm assuming you wont be able to take a bath while on crutches.


  • Get a good book of your Choice and read it and relax and seek inner peace of mind. good luck with your opp
