I am going to be making orange-cinnamon pork chops in a slow cooker (crock pot). I need veggies to go with them. Can't just eat meat. So what do I serve with them?
I would say corn or potatoes. If you're interested in a more nutritional, digestive-friendly vegetable, then I would suggest green beans. Since you are slow cooking, put on a second crockpot with blackeyed peas, and add a cup of rice. Add an onion and when you get home you will have a complete meal.
Potatoes, carrots, green beans, rice, etc.
Carrots.
Fried or broiled plantains would go excellent with your choice of spices! Brown rice or grits would be great. Try something different rather than the typical mashed potatoes and green beans. Maybe a roasted potato, red pepper, and radish medley...you can buy that frozen at the grocery store...it's Green Giant.
mashed potatoes, peas and carrots.

Sauerkraut with brown sugar and a bit of caraway seed mixed in. and rice pilaf or baked potato.
