What will you do if your preferred presidential candidate loses?

  • Why should I vote? | Voices.IdahoStatesman.com::
You will have changed the outcome of an election if you do vote, and the election ends in a tie or your preferred candidate wins by one vote.

    ...whoever that may be.

  • Wait and pray. wait and pray. and wait some more. This too shall pass. And I might make sure that my pantry was stocked well, that I had some bottles of water, a battery radio, and some cash on hand, just to be a bit prepared. A full tank of gas at all times in my car, and a bit of duck tape and a shower curtain wouldn't be out of place either. Oh, ya, I almost forgot... my gun and my bible... and lots of ammo when they come for me.

  • I will vote for a third party candidate for some time if that happens.

You can't do jack, if your just a Senator and since they have broken the laws and Constitution, don't you think they will try to put a hit on our candidate.

  • What will I do? I'll go to work every day like always. What are you gonna do?

  • Hope the other will do the right thing and actually fix something, but i will be depressed for a few days.

  • Not almost all Europeans are with Obama, My husband is German and I am Australian. Due to our work we live 6 months in Europe and 6 months in Australia. Not that it matters what we think, but so far McCain seems the better of the choice. Obama seems alot like the current PM of OZ (Kevin Rudd) all spin no substance. (I also agree he has a problem with he's speech, not sure why but it bugs me.) Anyway watching with great interest who America picks. Good Luck!

  • What any good American, I hope, will do: help him especially if it's McCain/Palin. They will need all the help they can get.

  • Whatever it was I was doing before the elections... I know whom I want to win... but, my life and times are in God's hands. No worries, here.

    McCain/Palin 08

  • I already hit rock bottom after Bush won again 2004. This time I will merely salute and hope we don;t get fooled again.

  • Go on with my life, it's not the first and last time that it would happend, and its not the end of the world either.

  • Buy more food and yank what little money I have out of the stock market.

    You?

  • If McCain gets elected, we will seriously consider moving to Canada. Or maybe somewhere in Europe.

  • Support the winner regardless. I support Obama, but if mccain wins, so be it. Me whining about it isn't going to change anything. I would support mccain just as i would Obama.

Asking this is like asking if you had a girl baby instead of a boy, would you still love it?

  • Laugh.

I would prefer Ron Paul, he already lost.

If the disaster known as Obama gets in it will be truly comical.

I wonder if the country will even survive till the midterm election when we'll be subjected to a massive wave of Republicans in Congress if that happens.

  • I'll start my own political party if McCain wins. The Democrats will have proven what total failures they are if they blow this election, and I would no longer affiliate myself with such incompetence.

  • Same thing I've done for the past 8 years ...

Grin and bear it ... and wait for better times.

  • I was disappointed when Ron Paul lost, but admire his persistence to carry on his message.

I am disappointed, but truly grateful that he ran.

  • cry - drink - sleep not necessarily in that order.
Oh yeah and pray for our future as a country.

  • I would be stunned. Literally, just speechless. Surprised. I would also feel sad for the country.

I would wonder if people knew how old McCain was, and who would be the President if he were to die.

I would probably pray for this country to get through another four more years.

Probably an entire feeling of mourning would swipe the nation as we grieve for the future losses of the country. I think the whole world will. Almost all of Europe is cheering on Obama and think Palin is absolutely wrong for the job.

You can't be an ally with a countries and not value their opinions the LEAST bit. When practically the entire world is cheering on a certain candidate, the least we could do is listen to WHY they want us to pick that president. After all, a President of the United States is somewhat of a President to the World when it comes to economy & war. These issues matter to EVERYONE - not just Americans.

I would also probably start up a blog and apologize to the rest of the world for what we would have done to them in advance, because we all know that with McCain we "will be in more wars. There's going to be more wars." - Direct Quote from McCain during a rally.

  • I will pray to god that they do a good job.

  • I dont think McCain will lose
    Please answere my question

  • I have no horse in this race.

  • Pick up, shrug, realize that one man never could bring this country down completely (or woman for that matter) and get through the next 4 years.
