Oh Happy Day!

I'd be pissed off, I'm just about to try to get sober and write some books and make some decent artwork... I have plans damnit... I'd be very pissed....

since i met Jesus, i am no longer afraid to die for i know i am going to a better place. if it was my last day, i would make sure that my family, friends and any one else ( they would not be able to stop me telling them) how much that Gods loves them and why i believe what i do.

I would feel disappointment in not being able to see my daughter grow up.

I'd fight it tooth and nail. Never go down without a fight.

But if I KNEW it to be inevitable, there are a couple of people who need to be hurt badly, and I'd want to leave my boyfriend with a special goodbye.

If I knew today was my last day - I would call up all those I love and talk to them and encourage them. I would tell them funny stories - so when I die they would remember those conversations and would smile even though they grieved for me.

I would give my loved ones LOTS of hugs and kisses. And I would encourage them to live for the Lord so that I may see them again on the other side!

I would eat my favorite desserts and maybe go to a special place with my honey - like a walk on the beach. And hold him close to me. I would laugh and reminisce about the happy memories we had had with our loved ones.

I would buy myself flowers so that I could have a preview of heaven before I got there. And I would take time to thank the Lord for the great life He has given me and our family!

I would pray to God for the forgiveness of my sins and for him to welcome me into his Kingdom through his son Jesus Christ.

I don't know... I've been asked this question before and I can't honestly say that I know what I would do. Do other people know I am dying? Are other people dying? Is there a comet coming to destroy us all? Or have I just magically found out that this will be my last day? I'll answer both ways.

If it were just me dying and no one else knew about it, well then I don't think I'd set a list or anything. I live out my last day with the people I cared about. But I kind of have an odd perception of life, not that I'm depressed but I'm not that fearful of death. I kind of view it like "finally it's over" kind of like bedtime after a really long day.

If I knew it was going to be the end of the world for everyone, well that would be drastically different. Maybe I'd go steal a Ferrari and blast REM's version of "It's the end of the world as we know it" on the radio while going as fast as I could down the highway. I would enjoy the party like atmosphere that I think would exist for some people if the time of the end of the world was known. If you haven't got much time left why not have fun? That day would potentially be the best day ever for a lot of people. No one would be at their crummy job, that's for sure. Everyone would be doing whatever the hell they wanted and the consequences of any actions would never be seen.

But underneath all that, what we are and what we've done would be forever gone. Is there a god to remember us? Is there a universal conscious that was paying attention? What about aliens? Were we all that ever was and will be? These deep and thought provoking questions would surely enter our minds, most intensely as the world would collectively watch as the last seconds of our existence fell off of the clock. Our only comfort would be in knowing that there would finally be peace.
