he gets a little carried away, and i say easy and most the time he calms down, but some times he gets behind me when i sit on the floor and play, then puts a paw on each of my shoulders and stands up, then trys to eat my hair...like he is trying to get a piggy back ride.
he doesn't hurt me and i know he is just playing but i was wondering why he does this? i've never known a dog to do that. like i said im fine with it as long as he is being easy, and i think its cute as hell, but i was just wondering why he does it.
oh and when i say pup, i mean a little over one year old.

Don't be too grossed out but he is entering doggie adolescence. Whether he's fixed or not he will try this dominance position, biting (not hard) at your 'neck and fur' (hair). Even playing, you should keep your head above his, eyes above his. Otherwise he will get confused.
He wants soemthing to chew on and that something is your hair in his range. He just wants to play
he's probably trying to be in a dominant position while you are sitting on the floor (lower/submissive position).
He does it because he knows it's cute.
