We go to this lake about thirty miles away and what we usually catch is snakes. They get on the line and we have to shake them off. When we last went we caught nothing and must have seen fish jumping fifty times. But catch one? Forget it. Otherwise we usually go to the local river and catch bream. We release them though. We like to fish, love to eat it, but nobody wants to clean or cook it!
When I lived in So. Calif., I fished saltwater, but I haven't done that since I moved to the midwest a few years ago. (We're a bit of distance from the salt)
Fl Girl "sparked" my interest, and perhaps one day, I'll trek off down to Alabama, Louisiana, or Florida, and wet a line.
