Your alternator is held on with 2 bolts. One on the underside which acts like a hinge, and one on the top which when you loosen it, you should be able to push and pull on the alternator loosening or tightening the belt. Quite simple. It will be located near the left side, just look for a pulley that doesn't drive anything. There may be a fixed idler pulley, but the tensioner will move when you put tension on the belt by pushing it. It will have a 1/2" square socket opening that you can get a breaker bar onto, or you can get a belt tensioner tool that will loosen the belt and hold the tensioner in place when you thread the belt back on. I would avoid trying to remove the alternator or any other component without loosening the belt first.
the belt tensioner should be on the left side of the engine as you look in at it. With the engine not running if you press on the belt you should be able to see the tensioner move.
If you can take a pic of your engines, belts, I can resend to you, with it highlighted.
