i cant seem to find it, i have an idea of what it looks like. i just want to take a look at it to see if it is bad and needs to be replaced, according to what someone told me.
Is this a 4x4 Blazer? If so,the transmission mount is actually on the transfer case,which is bolted to the rear of the transmission. There is a cross member that supports the transfer case and the mount is between the cross member and the transfer case.

If it is a 2wd Blazer,the mount is between the cross member and the transmission.
It's hard to tell if the mount is broken just by looking at it. They are made in 2 pieces bonded with rubber. Unless it is obviously broken,you need to remove it to check it. I know this sounds dumb,but it is true. I have removed them and they looked OK,but when I pulled on them,they come apart.

Usually,the rubber deteriorates from oil leaking on the mount. It gets very soft and spongy,then breaks.
Ok this is easy.....Look under the middle of your vehicle and you will see an oval shaped box hanging down (transfer case) The drive shaft going to the back of the vehicle will come out of the back of it and the drive shaft going to the front of the vehicle will come out of the front of it on the drivers sided. Ok so just where that transfer case bolts to the transmission there is a cross member (a beam going from one side of the frame to the other) Between that cross member and the transmission housing you will find the mount. it is about 5 inches long and it has 2 bolts holding it to the transmission housing and 2 studs with nuts on them going down through the cross member. it is made up of 2 metal plates with a block of rubber in between. The way to check it is to push or GENTLY jack up on the transmission and see if the mount separates or just stretches the rubber. If you see that it just stretches the rubber no problem but if it separates then it needs replacement. Remember though don't jack up too much or you can separate even a good mount, just enough to see if it stretches. Good luck!
Transmission mount is on the adapter between the transmission and the transfer case. Two bolts attach it to the adapter and two studs pass through the frame cross-member to attach it to the frame.
