Which name sounds the best?

I thought I would take advantage of this handy dandy poll option and see what you experienced podcasters out there think is the best name for my Marilyn Monroe podcast.

Just a little background...I have done 6 shows and really gave little thought to the name of the show when I started. In fact, I chose My Marilyn because it was the name of the song I use for my intro. However, I am starting to think long term and I doubt I will keep the same intro forever. Also, I am wondering if "My Marilyn" sounds kind of childish. It implies she "belongs" to me which certainly isn't the case. I am also planning on getting a separate domain name just for the podcast. I'd like something that isn't too long and will look good on stuff like T-shirts :)

So I am looking for opinions to help me out with my decision!

In reference to another post you made here at Podcast Alley, I too like the name "My Marilyn". While you mentioned that you think the MY refers to ownership, I dont think that is neccessarily true. The way I understood the MY was that your podcast was about how you felt about Marilyn, your relationship with her, your fun trips in finding memorabilia and why you like her.

I think leaving it the same is a good idea. It appeals to me and lets me know that the podcast is an intimate relationship with the topic.

No real urgent concern. Just wondering if I am going to be happy with it long-term. Plus the domain name I wanted is gone so it started me thinking about other possibilities.

No worries about domain names...I'll figure something out that way...lots of choice available...if I went with the first one I don't think it would even matter what I call the show.

By the way, I was struggling with the Monroe Show in the beginning because I liked how it sounded the most, but I just think calling Marilyn by her first name is more personal. Plus if you just heard that you would probably think my name was Monroe :)

I would run with whatever name that is still available as a .com domain. But that's just me.... Good luck.

I really like "My Marilyn" - it's personal which is a great quality. "Marilyncast" is too cold IMHO... Sounds like she broke her leg or something.

I like The Monroe Show â€� � it's descriptive, rhymes and rolls off the tongue easily.

Don't change the name of your show. I would never advise that. Why the concern all the sudden?
