The ironic part is that McCain used Palin to deliver his "you can't trust Obama" message, yet SHE was the one found guilty of "violating the public trust" in her Troopergate scandal

She is a bad person, who cannot be trusted to be President of the United States of America. And McCain exercised poor judgement for not checking up on her first.

I am ANOTHER of MANY registered Republicans who will be switching parties because the GOP have let me and the country down so badly, and voting for Obama/Biden because they are so far superior to Ailin/McCain.
Ron Paul would crush any of the candidates, unfortunately the people who run the debates realize this and have been "leaving him out" for almost a year now.

Neither of them would stand any chance at all up against Obama.
Ron Paul's support for the so-called (and grossly misnamed) Fair Tax has permanently relegated him to the lunatic fringe of American politics.
And Palin? Puh-leezee!
neither. Obama is going to win this election. Ron Paul has a lot of good ideas and a lot of wacky ideas.
Both Ron Paul and Sarah Palin are unfit candidates. Paul, because he is utopian in a world that barely manages to operate when EVERYONE agrees to compromise, and Palin because she is ignorant and ethically challenged.
My cat could beat either of them in a fair election and she's smarter.
There's only one thing I can think of that Sarah could beat Barack at, and that's bowling. Let's face it she's even being second guessed by her own party.
As for Ron Paul, if he was all he's cracked up to be, he would be in McCain's shoes. He's not so discussing that portion of your question is irrelevant.
