Remember Ernie Kovac?
me
me, too
Me
yes, but what are you getting at?
Saw it in the paper this morning.
I read the news. I admired her and was a big fan of Ernie Kovac.
"Come on down and smoke a Tiparillo sometime."
Saw the notice yesterday A.M. in the paper.
Great lookin' lady!
When I was a teenager in Philadelphia,Ernie Kovacs had a morning television show. I used to haunt the tv stations and Ernie allowed me to watch them filming the show. I happened to be there one day when Edie was auditioning for Mr. Kovacs. After I moved to Los Angeles,Ernie had a show on ABC. I was completely floored to find out that he remembered me. Both he and Edie Adams were incredibly kind to me and it broke my heart when Ernie was killed on my birthday in 1962. I sent a sympathy card to Edie and was amazed when she responded to thank me. I must admit to crying yesterday when I found out she had died. Edie Adams was first and foremost a lady and she will be greatly missed. It was in my newspaper this morning, what a good looking woman!!!
I just read the news in my daily newspaper this morning. I always thought she was so pretty. Can't believe she was 81 y/o.
Me I saw it on the news last night.
Yes, sadly of cancer.
WELL.... LETS SEE NOW....
Yes.... I heard a brief story about it on the news yesterday.
I always remember her because she was married to one
of the "funniest" comedians that ever lived......... ERNIE KOVACS.
No I didn't know that. I loved her! She was beautiful too. Yes I remember Ernie too. Many of his kids died tragically too.
She died Wednesday. She was the All-American "IT GIRL".
She shocked a lot of people with her line in that Cigar commercial when she said, "How would you like to light one up & smoke it sometime" in a sultry & playful way that was borderline sexual...that is, if a person knew what those words also could have meant!. 19781106 Boxoffice / November 6, 1978:: saturation level of is at a 97 per cent with moviegoing public age 12 and older. the film Tommy Chong and Cheech MarTom Skcrritt, Edie Adams, Strothcr http://issuu.com/boxoffice/docs/boxoffice_110678HOME | CW News:: Actress and singer Edie Adams, the blonde beauty who won a Tony Award for Jack Priestly is still puffing on cigars and downing whisky at the age of 100. http://www.cigarweekly.com/magazine/cw_news/?78[command]=view&78[id]=593HOME |
She held her own & it's unfortunate that so many only remember her for being married to Kovacs.
She was & is a part of the old Hollywood Glam Crowd that I grew up around. She's an ICON & an important part of the history of Hollywood.
I remember watching her in a cigar commercial when I was a very young girl.
I liked her...sad to hear she died.
I was not aware that she died. Yes I remember Ernie Kovac.
Sure do. I miss Ernie too.
