Why are we different?

What factors affect how we are different from other members of our family?!!

Thankss! every thing, because if we were all the exact same, it would be just millions of the exact same person! it would be boring!
  • its all about our genetic make-up. We get some genes from our mother and some from our father (some are more dominant than others). We all have a different genetic make-up which makes us all different!
  • Um.. family members look alike to me. They don't show any differences except some appearance of the face.
  • Our age, sex, genetic inheritance, time period we grew up in, place of residence, personality traits.
  • We all have (at least slightly) different DNA profiles, even from our own family members (except identical twins).

Gene mutations exist in all of us.

Birth order has a profound psychological influence.

Sexual differences exist between males and females.

Our environments and interactions shape our personalities, habits, and possibly even our abilities.

The hormones, food, and oxygen we receive while in the womb differ for everyone. They make big differences in our development.

Nutrition and exercise affect our bodies everyday.
