I have a 2 feet saltwater tank and has been about a month when my NO2
rose and a few fishes died now the water has been changed but my fishes are still dieing I am at a lost what to do please help
do you use any type of allergy drops in your tank? to kill off fungus and ect.

Also could be the temp of the tank if you place the fish in to quickly with out letting the tank adjust to the room temp or to the same temp the fish sit in before transferring it can be quite a shock to there system
More information is needed before anyone can tell you what they might have died.
How many gallons is your tank? Saying that it's two feet, doesn't give the rest of the dimensions. If it's only 2 feet in the longest dimension, this is only about a 20 gallon tank. For saltwater, that's not very big.
What types of fish did you have? If they weren't compatible, they may have been fighting and one killed the other, and the last died of injuries or stress from fighting. Or, since you say they weren't the last fish, I'm guessing there were others you put in earlier. The earlier fish may have killed the new ones as invaders into their teritory. A 20 gallon tank doesn't give fish a lot of space to set up territories, and you may have fish that are aggressive to fish inside their territory.
What were your ammonia, nitrIte and nitrAte levels exactly? If the first two are high enough, they may have been the cause of death. The nitrAtes can go higher, but it's still not good to have too much. It shows a lack of good tank maintenance or that you overfeed the fish.
What are the pH, salinity, and temperature in the tank? Saltwater fish can be sensitive, and if these were within the levels they can tolerate, these might have killed them.
Did the fish that died show any signs of diseases, parasites, or odd behavior?

What other things do you have in your tank? Some crabs and starfish will eat other fish.
There are so many things that *could* have gone wrong, it's impossible to guess at the cause unless we know more.
ADDED: A nitrIte level of 0.5 is close to being fatal itself. You need a water change NOW!!
You've got about 8-9 fish too many in that size of a tank! First, your seahorses aren't going to be able to complete with the other faster fish for food and they're slowly going to starve to death (if the water quality doesn't kill them first). Seahorses need excellent water quality and you're going to have trouble keeping it with that many fish in such a small tank.

Damsels are aggressive. And you have at least two different kinds. The four stripes aren't as bad as some others, but they can still be bullies to shy fish.
Your tank is way too small for ANY kind of tang or the porcupine puffer. Puffers are notorious for nipping fins and killing fish and invertebrates, so the starfish might have been lunch someday. The puffers are sensitive to bad water quality too, and the nitrite level may have killed him.
Please consider taking most of your fish back to wherever you got them, or finding them other homes. What you've got is never going to work in your tank and your fish are going to continue to die!!
And if you decide to keep saltwater, please research the fish you like before you get them. What you see in the store are mostly babies. I'll bet your tang is about 2-4 inches right now, but do you know they're a foot long full grown? Don't depend on the signs in stores or trust what the guy that nets the fish out for you tells you. All the store wants to do is sell you fish. Most of the time the people who work in these stores don't know anything about how to take care of them. I guess they think if your fish dies, you'll just come back and buy more. But saltwater fish are expensive and it's in your best interest to find out about them before you buy them so you don't keep throwing your money away only to have fish keep dying.
did you add any of live speciments like reefs??
if you did. it could be one of the reefs that had died and still be in your tanking decomposing.best is that you check thoroughly and if the problem still persist.. one final solution.... rebuild your aquarium again from scratch..
