Why do Athiest think a Creator would need 'stuff' to make Creation?

Published by: webmaster 2009-01-09
  • Athiest dont believe in a Creator so why do they ask where He got stuff from to make Creation?

This proves their is no such things as Athiest because they question God all the time.
Professor Links Atheism to Intelligence at The Atheist Blog::
I do think that there are very good reasons for accepting that an infinite being To posit a creator god would beg the question, “What created god”,

So why do they think He need stuff? A Creator could do what HE wanted?

    (please no rude ansers)

  • I think we are aloud to question the existence something that has such an impact on our society. The burden of proving the existence of God lies with those who claims he exists..

  • Why would He want to do anything? The desire to do anything, for example to create a universe for kicks, would imply He's not a perfect being. Why should a god want for anything?
Also, atheists don't question God, as you put it, we merely point out reasons that others ideas of gods don't make a whole lot of sense.

  • I'm an atheist, and believe everything in our known universe is composed from space dust. Including us. I do not question the existence of any god. I just don't believe in it.

  • Um, I don't remember asking that. Ever.

  • they question..and that is good.

  • The First Law of Thermodynamics.

  • Is English your second language? Just curious.

And I've never said that, nor heard an atheist say that, so I don't think your question really addresses any point.

  • Who created the "stuff" that the creator in made of ? Everything has to have a beginning according to religious people who question evolution , So tell us where did the life of "god" begin ? And if some live thing made him , where did that things life come from ?

  • Weeeelll... if he's making stuff, then there has to be stuff at some point...

  • well,we think he would need "stuff"to create because it says so in the bible, remember? He needed clay to make man. Then he apparently ran out of clay or forgot the recipe and used a rib to make women?Haven't you read your bible? He didn't just "poof"Adam and Eve into existence...he used "stuff"

  • Uhh...no we don't.

We think, "How can you claim that the Universe wouldn't exist without God's help, without some sort of a 'Guaranteed God-Free Zone' to compare it to?"

Aren't science classes mandatory in your middle school? Control and experimental groups, limiting variables -- any of these ringing a bell?

And it's still spelled "atheist", Einstein...

  • I agree. Your dream buddy can do whatever she wants, and no one who can't dream along with you should tell you what you are or are not allowed to dream. Shame on them.

  • I don't think a creator needs stuff, because there isn't a creator.

  • You can't say something like that and then ask for no rude answers. You're being rude! Honestly, "Their is no such things as Atheist"? (GRAMMAR POLICE!). But yeah, I'm an atheist, and I don't see the problem in questioning God. It doesn't mean you think he exists, it means you want to discuss others' faith in him. Geez...

  • Of course we question god all the time. You act as if being an athiest is an uneducated decision.

We make decisions based on evidence. We constantly strive for the truth, and the correct answer. Don't confuse researching and testing your beliefs/conclusions with doubt.

Only the arrogance of a religion dictates that understanding is static, that nothing is to be learned and questioned.

  • You have asked this question about 20 times, are you sure you believe in creationism yourself, as you seem to be showing a lot of doubt?

  • I don't where you got that silly idea from. A supernatural being is a supernatural being, it does not exist and anything attributed to it, does not exist.
