Section - VI:: Thus the AV and Sister White again are on the same side of the question. of the ARV says, many ancient authorities read let us have. Why were not my http://kjv.benabraham.com/html/section_-_vi.htmlHOME | i guess mocking religions is a virtue for atheists even though they have no moral dogma...
Examples? Mocking religion is totally rational.
as atheists are based on rationality, reason and logic your question and interpritation doesn't make sense...

i see qs on ALL sides firing blanks at the other side

picking one person to say this about out of a list of 7 is not judging the situation correctly
and just comes of as biased A review of The God Delusion. By Richard Dawkins. Part 1. Bill :: Bantam Press, 2006. Many years ago when I read the short volume by atheist Bertrand Russell, Why I Am Not Dawkins is so quotable because he is so illogical. http://www.billmuehlenberg.com/2006/12/29/a-review-of-the-y-richard-dawkins-part-1/HOME |
For instance?
Incidentally....not having dogma in one's life is a GOOD thing. It gives you the flexibility to respond to the situation appropriately without getting hung up on the superstitious nonsense of a bunch of Bronze Age goatherders.
You should try it sometime...
Because I'm irrational, unreasonable and illogical? But I'm still an atheist. All atheist means is lack of belief in deities. No other requirements.
what i said was FACT. theirs is an opinion like you said.
thank you Report Abuse
Never seen one.
Nearly everything about religion is hypothetical. If you can't wrap your mind around possibilities, that's a "you" problem.
And if one truly has conviction, then they can never be mocked. This very question shows an utter weakness in your "faith". Trust me, though...you're not alone.
i am getting out of this section. i thought i would gain more wisdom over here. all i see is mockery.
heres to you athiests
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Losing faith | Ask Metafilter:: I was raised as an atheist Quaker, and so thought of religion more in terms of It wasnt until I was in my early twenties that I realized many of them do. http://ask.metafilter.com/16285/Losing-faithHOME |
Galatians 6:7-9
Why do people post such ignorant, bashing questions?
I guess even though they have plenty of dogma, they choose to act like assholes.
Because denying God is easy in mind but hard in spirit.
God forbid we have a sense of humor, huh?
erm, kettle calling the pot black anyone?
"...if we comes from monkiez why is da still monkiez?"
I do not even purposely go to R&S but every now and then when I am in the all categories I find some religious guys like yourself asking athiests questions like that and out of curtsy I find myself complied to reply. Atheism is not herdatory, my folks are religious and i do not mock them, and yah about morality i have them but they are not based on some fear from mythical hell or longing like a cow to the green medows of fictional heaven. my morality is very much based on the common sense that tells me it is wrong to kill a bat for fun, (bet you your religion did not state that).
Not only do we atheists have morals, we do the right things because they're right, not because we want an eternal reward or fear eternal punishment. Whatever morals religious people have are entirely self-serving, as they obey the completely arbitrary diktats of an imaginary being.
Do you have any specific examples, or are you just trying to make points with the other superstitious people who hang out here?
Questions such as...?
You mean the ones like, "where's proof of your god's existence?" Or, "why do you think the earth is 6000 years old?" Those kind of irrational and unreasonable questions?
Yes, you're right -- we have no moral "dogma." We have no dogma at all. Do you even know the meaning of the word? And you'll love this...your "moral dogma" didn't come from "god" either. Nor the bible. Learn a little bit about the real history of the world and its peoples (not the made-up history in the bible), and you'll see how and why this is so.
Oh, the ignorance...
Peace.
