but just go with me here.
say you were 100% completely unwanted since, like, the friggin 3rd grade up until you're 13 years old......
and it wont change.
nobody loved you or cared about you at all.
no kids, no parents, not even a hamster depended on you.
so in that case, why would suicide be selfish??
seriously, If nobody really liked you, or needed you for anything, then why would suicide be selfish?
wouldn't it be more selfish to try to talk an unloved person out of suicide into a miserable life?
i think so.
anyway i asked this question before on an account that got deleted (for no reason!)
and everyone said "because people love you"
well, if no one loves you, then please tell me how it would be selfish.... or am i right???

oh! interesting question! That would be selfish if you are a believer! if you trust in God and if you are a christian, he wouldn't want you to do that and "be selfish" while he died on thee cross for you! so why be selfish?( that's on the religious part of life), that's it if nobody cares at all about you which I really don't think it's possible. at least, someone likes you!!
Suicide is always selfish because someone who is psychologically healthy always looks to serve a greater good. In short it's about having a world-view broad enough so you see more than yourself. It is in society's best interest that people look to serve a greater good rather than only their family, peers, or local community to which they belong. That greater good is not about what we are but what we aspire to. What's healthy for society is healthy for the individual and vice versa. All of the acts that immoral or wrong are unhealthy in that regard. Life should be valued and it's value appreciated.
