I only seen one so far do this it's like flickering shining sometimes it has like differnt colars like read etc why is this
Stars appear to flicker due to refraction of their light by the earth's atmosphere.
Turbulence in the Earth's atmosphere is the cause of stars flickering and changing colors too. Changes in air density acts like a prism and refracts the shorter wavelengths in a star's light more than the longer ones, which is what causes them to change colors. Near the horizon, longer wavelengths reach your eye whereas the shorter ones are absorbed, which is why objects look red or are reddened near the horizon.

Because of the Earth's atmosphere!
When light passes through the Earth's atmosphere, it refracts. Refraction is affected by density, humidity and temperature. Since different part of the atmosphere have different densities, temperature and humidity, the refraction is also different, thus creating the twinkling effect.
stars can appear red if they are moving away from the earth. It's called redshift. It happens because the wavelengths of light are elongated by the fact that light source is getting farther and farther away from the earth.
This is because the light from the star passes through our atmosphere, and as it does so small irregularities and disturbances in the atmosphere cause the starlight to refract in differing amounts, giving a twinkling effect.
if u mean twinkling, it occurs due to the shifting of the atmospheric layers of the earth. if u watched stars from outer space u wouldn't see them flicker.
