First I'd like to admit I'm an African American male 5'5 (short), dark skinned. I'm not a pretty boy, just average but I have a really big heart, educated, I'm loyal, I work hard and I have the time to give. I've been in relationships and even though they've ended they always were on good terms. What I dont understand is why I see some of the most finest and intelligent sistas around giving all their love to some guy who dresses like he just got up out of a gutter, saggs with no belt in his pants and looks like he just got out of prison and to top it off does nothing with his life.
So many times I have approached female (african american women) who were everything I could ever dream of and was shot down only to lose out to some brother who looks like he stepped out of a horror film. In the end they just end up arguing all the time, the sista ends up stressed out and then she has a baby by the guy and he does nothing to help. Then she leaves him only to hook up with another guy whose just the same and in the end she just gives up on brothas altogether and dates a white guy. WHY IS THAT???? My aunt is 42 years old, a professor and just went back to school to become a doctor...........what does she want? A educated black male, non smoker with no record. Yes she is a virgin. Its common for older black females to be childless and a virgin. Then those who are pro black like my moms friend left with four kids and bills to take care of them herself and wants a black husband so bad she is looking into the jail system...no joke.
My black female friends are all virgin.......all are into other races of men because well..............you know the full story. Its really a myth that all black women like thugs, gold teeth and slang speakers.
Am 21 and a virgin and I plan on going somewhere..........black males are....not going there and plus reading about how black females got Aids because of the DL didn't help non either.
I may go to a doctor and have a baby without a man, or adopt....after seeing my mom with a total of non thug black men who turned out abusive I have a fear of dating black males. All were very wrong to me, even my biracial friend has a abusive black father and the mother is white!
Its not the bad choices its just that its rare to find a good black male, one who doesn't smoke, no record, doesn't speak slang and has goals.
But there are plently of black females and blogs on older black women who are virgins and still waiting. I did have a major crush on this black guy at work. He wanted to be a fire fighter, didn't want to be like his father and be there for any kids he has and marry his women, and said he will never go street.............well three weeks later after getting some checks I found out from his Iran friend that he now wants a career as a rodeo clown and when I saw him he had a huge afro, gold teeth and looked plain stupid.

they have a greater chance of the good.
Its common for a black women to have white friends and all of them have men and she is single parent.
Hey, that's just in your experience. A lot of decent black women are after decent black men, not always scum. Ugh, I hate bad boys and ghetto boys. All I can say is don't give up and keep the faith. Any woman who wants to be with scum probably deserves it. Finding the right person is hard for anyone, it might be that one in a million, just don't be hard on yourself and the time and person will come. Do you think those women you speak of are in happy relationships right now? Also, don't just look at black women there are other races out there too not just us black women!
I can't say 'why' exactly. Though I can say that some women seem to have this complex that there are no decent, educated black men out there (rubbish, I know) or if there are that they will be more interested in say white women. So some of them naturally gravitate towards ghetto guys or white guys.
Because women don't want what is good for them deep down. They'd rather have all the bling and be with the man with the hard reputation because she has so little self-esteem and sees no direction in her life that the only way she can achieve any self worth is by getting up the duff with some loser
I'm sorry that you've had those experiences and I truly hope you find a black woman who appreciates you in every way. But I must say that those women sometimes have low self-esteem and feel that that's what they are worth. And look at it this way ..It's their loss. And dark-skin men are a wonderful Thing!!! :) So don't ever think different!
