It depends on your definition of "muscular". If you are referring to an athletic body, Such as a typical track and field athlete, then the attraction is the sign of strength, discipline and it's just sexy to have a toned and muscularly defined body.

On the other hand if you are referring to the body builder type. That is more unattractive because it is a sign of obsessive behaviors and someone who is a control freak. Not saying all body builders are that way, but that's what make them less attractive, plus having super sized muscles bulging from your clothes does not look all that hot.
