I have a 6 month old male cat. he is still using a litter tray but everytime he needs a wee or poo cries before he goes....he has been like this ever since i can remember.
Why is my cat so crazy??::
Sometimes in the evenings, my cat will suddenly start tearing around the house. or the cat no longer needs to hunt, he will feel the need to hunt anyway. WHY DOES MY CAT DO THAT? .. I also make myself cry for no reason! Wow, I'm nuts! Toilet training is so unnatural and unfair to expect of a cat.

@Liz - it was the toilet part. Nowadays, we find all kinds of critters in Rudy (boy kitty) will stand at the opposite end of the house and cry, cry, cry. . He doesn't stomp, but he does druel sometimes. My female cat does none of those. how to zip the lip when there's things that she thinks need killing.

take him to the vet as it could be a UTI
Since he's only 6 months old, this is a normal kitten thing. Most of my fosters have done this. Kittens I've adopted have grown out of it. They're just young and don't understand fully what's going on - like, "What's this feeling I have? He prefers to toilet outside than use his litter tray (fussy MR) in the early days if his . My cat is deaf, disabled and his cry is loud and not normal. My cat needs to be fixed so maybe thats one of the problems, I am better now, and so is Sammy (my cat), but he does meow way too much.

it might be in discomfort befor it goes to the loo it should grow out of it. if not take it to the vets as there could be an infection or some other problem
Haha that's so cute! Maybe it just wanted to give you a warning before it goes.
Sometimes they want to let you know something. My cats normally do that when their litter tray is dirty and it's time to be cleaned. Try to clean it before he goes and see if he is ok then. If he has trouble doing his wee and poo then you need to take him to the Vet. Check if he has diarrhea or any signs of abnormal stool like blood stains or so. That's a bad sign and need to be rushed to the doc.
i wouldnt worry too much my cat did the same but soon grooow out of it. it could also be to do with where the litter tray is placed cats like there privacy
