CRAZY!
If you have an idea besides laziness PLEASE, do share!
CRAZY perhaps but LAZY is more like it
Well, I think there are two things, or maybe three, going on. The first is that some people have a poor visual memory. They can remember and analyze ideas, but remembering the way a word should look is beyond them. Some of these people are quite intelligent.
The second thing might be that spelling and grammar are not stressed as much in some schools as they used to be. Some people feel that if the interest in reading is there, and people follow this interest, the spelling and grammar will follow. This is probably true for most, but not for all. Some people just require more practice, and they need to focus on this. Why Zebras Dont Get Ulcers | Barnes & Noble.com:: Find Why Zebras Dont Get Ulcers plus much more at BN.com. Also when people fail to differentiate between homonyms. Like their, there, and they're. Or its and it's. Or to, too, two. here, hear.
Those bug me a lot. And i totally get you. "Dat's cool." Whoop dee ******* doo. You saved yourself having to type a single letter.
I used to talk on aim a lot, and i actually blocked my friend(one i knew outside the internet) just because his typing was literally SO bad that i had trouble reading it. Each sentence I'd actually say to myself "what could that jumble of letters be attempting to spell... and how does it fit with those other ones?!?!"
Also, when people forget to drop the "e". Typeing. writeing. etc.
