I believe it has a lot to do with the fact that Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes are the top WRs. He is a rookie and they want to work him in rather than work him hard the first year. Most WRs do not break out their first year. However, there have been a few exceptions (this year is Eddie Royal and DeSean Jackson). It mostly has to do with the fact of truly knowing the playbook at a pro level. If he is not playing, there is a reason. He is obviously being beat by teammates sharing the same position.

then hines ward is doing great esspecailly compared to last season
