Sort of. There are new features in 3.7 that are not in 3.6 style system. Best you start fresh to make sure you don't remove any of the 3.7 features.

I converted a 3.6.8 style to work on 3.7 - it was only 9 templates I had to edit, nothing major as long as you know what you are doing.
Depends on how thorough is the style modified.

It will semi-work, you'll have to revert a lot of templates.
Especially, the custom profiles, they won't work if any of the profile templates are modified.
u have to edit a lot of templates (took me like 2 hours or something), but if u did that one time the next upgrade is installed very quick ;-)
Off the top of my head, you'll definitely need to revert the headinclude and memberinfo templates, and add a couple of definitions to your main CSS. Upgrade Notice - vBulletin 3.7.0 Gold, vBulletin 3.6.10 ::

it will but if its modded too the point where the new changes wont work then yes but alot of templates will work if you know how too make it work ;)
Like others said, it will work but you will need to revert quite a few templates. How many will need to be reverted will depend on how much you modified the templates. I'm currently using 3.6x style on 3.7.
