Yes, the world finds it very important and relevant to every continent when the strongest country has an irrational leader like Bush or an intelligent and reasonable president like Obama.
McCain used to be a bit more rational, like in 2000, but he's taken a major turn for the worse, my friendssss.

Those who would celebrate an Obama win would be the president of Iran, Castro, Qadaffi (sp?), bin Laden, and all the jihadis. Obama would give the country to them.
Why is everyone these days worried about what the world thinks? We are a sovereign nation. We are our own country. Why are we letting other countries influence who we pick for president? I found it funny when the terrorists over seas came out and said we would be better off if Obama won the election. Hey why not let the people we are fighting a war against dictate our leaders?
The Communist and Socialist world will. The rest will light a candle for free America.
I think Obama is much more popular around the world. But I think the rest of the world is waiting to see what happens with America after Bush is gone. Bush's with us or against us, us vs. them brand of politics has alienated much of the world. Bush has strained relations with many countries that used to be strong allies by insisting they follow his demands. I think people around the world are waiting to see if Obama or McCain is going to try to mend those fences.
There isn't that many terrorist.
But then again........When your the superpower other countries want you out of power, so Obama is their best bet for that.
You bet your bippy they will! Then they will have reasons to call us irresponsible, bully, imperialists! They will say take that you smug Americans - you have finally made the 'shot heard round the world'. No longer will you be the land of milk and honey, but rather the land of buttermilk and spam! We, Americans will be saying,"Pray for us Lord for we know not what we do!" Historians will log this as the downfall of a once great Nation. Everywhere Americans travel abroad it will be incognito, so we won't have to see the look of sympathy the rest of the world will focus their gaze on us!
