First of all, when you are still developing your skills, even the cliched shots are satisfying if they are your personal best.
As you get better in your technical and artistic skills, your photography will become better than that of most of the people that you know. Yet to the wider community, your stuff will still be cliched.
Notice that the circle is getting bigger.
With your skills near their peak, your attention will focus on getting the shot that nobody else has gotten. That's much more difficult. For example, I wanted to take pictures of a tree in full fall foliage. A caretaker of the park told me that before the season is over 400 people will shoot that tree. So I looked for a perspective that I thought might be unique. I can't say that I succeeded, but that's the kind of thinking that one goes through. I once posted a shot of an egret that I thought was pretty unique. Some time later, I googled egret images to see if it showed up. There were over 40 pages! Not a one of them was mine. That was discouraging.
To avoid cliches, you need to catch fleeting moments, moments that others will miss. Those are the shots that become memorable. I think, however, that even the pros at the top of their form get a very small number of these shots. And they will be the first to tell you.

So I guess my answer to you would be an emphatic YES.
sure is! most billion of images being produced are snap shots! Quality counts more then how many!!
out of all the eye shots their are only 2 that even get approval!
If you're good, it's definitely possible; it also depends a lot on your content.
I find the best exercise for this is to go to Flickr and do a search on a popular subject you've shot. For me, I tried Nubble Light, a light house in Maine. I sadly realized that almost all my shots were exact copies of other shots people took. They weren't bad shots, there's only so many different ways to take a shot in front of a lighthouse.
BUT - you'll see the people who stand out. Someone who took a picture of it at night, with christmas lights on, in the middle of winter. I actually had a decent sunrise shot I hadn't seen anyone else take, and I saw one in the middle of a big storm.
Same subject (for the most part), different pictures.
Standing out can be tough. Doesn't mean you can't take great pictures.
