was to look around for papers or articles on the Internet that discuss
women's power bases from the point of view you mentioned. I'm not
familiar with Raven's principles myself, so would a list of online

Are you referring to French & Raven's "Five Forms of Power" (ie.,
coercive, legitimate, reward, etc.)? Or are you referring to Raven's
later works in which he discusses power in interpersonal
relationships?
While the differences are subtle, they can shade the perception of
power forms for most any of the women in power from government
(Condaleezza Rice or Hilary Clinton) to media (Oprah Winfrey, Martha
Stewart); from aerospace (Louise Francesconi) to technology (Carley
Fiorina) or other fields (Leona Helmsley).
The above women can be compared with one form of power using the
French & Raven example, and in at least two cases would need to be
redefined if one were to refer to Raven's later (refined) works.
It would be helpful for any researcher undertaking to answer this if
they could know which of Raven's works you are referring to.
