I've never understood why everyone/where says that women love choclate and think chocolate is better than sex, this is meant to be common knowledge but I've never met any woman that actually loves choclate this much.
Is it just a rumour spread by choclate comanies to convonce people that women love choclate this much so they will spend more money on it?
Who ever said choclate is better than sex was obviously fcking the wrong people. Adverstising can make or break you...on Valintines day choclate sells big, because we are told women love chocolate. I do like chocolate, but not because someone told me too, its because that sh!t is good, but I would rather have sex anyday...or why not both?

Advertising plays a big part in how our decisions as consumers are made, often without us realising it, but I don't think it can make us like something.
Maybe people like chocolate to start with, and advertising just stimulates that desire.
Don't know if women are more likely to love choc than guys though! In my family, we all enjoy our chocolate :-)

You do realize that this is yet another generalization and not all women love chocolate. I happen to be one who only likes chocolate, and I can't eat it all the time. I have to be in the mood for it, and that doesn't come too often. And chocolate doesn't even come close to sex. I'd give up chocolate forever if I could replace it with sex. I can easily go without chocolate.

You might be right, they certainly advertise it as a substitute though I have heard that it releases the same chemicals in our brains as those associated with sex and love.
I've yet to meet a women who takes the phone off the hook and gets orgasmic while wrapping her lips around a bar of chocolate like in the ads.
