One of my friends does a bunch of stuff that annoys the heck out of me and I just wanted to know if you would be friends with this person?....

First of all, he is very nosey. For example, I will be out with him and bunch of other friends and will get a text message and he will be looking over my shoulder and ask "Who are you texting?" And then if I say who it is, he'll be like "What are you guys talking about?" I just want to tell him "It's none of your business!"

Second, he has all of these plans made up about how everything is going to go. For instance, he goes to DeVry where there are practically no girls. I transferred from community college to a four year university this fall. This past summer he made this plan that I was gonna go to college and meet all of these girls. Then, I was gonna bring him along to the football games and other school events to have him meet these girls in hopes of him and I getting a girlfriend. The thing is I didn't want him tagging along with me at college because he annoys me! Also, having him around me would hurt my chances of making any friends!

Chemotherapy and You::

Third, he thinks he knows everything! He will try to give me advice on varies aspects on my life by going back to his high school years and his past experiences with his old group of friends. He will tell me how he dealt with certain situations and problems that happened but it's horrible advice. Also, he will give me advice on how to get a girlfriend when in reality he's only had one!

Forth, he judges people! At parties he refuses to drink so he basically sits around while everyone else is drinking and observes what people are doing. Then, he will judge people on what he observed! For instance, one of my best friends and I were drunk and made out. Afterward, he pulls me into the garage and just looks at me with this scary, creepy face and asks what I'm doing? I just wanted to say "Who cares what I'm doing! I'm just trying to have a good time! Mind your own business!"

Fifth, he always has to have his way! For instance, my friends and I had planned on going to a sit down restaurant for a good meal one night. He decided to tag along and once he gets to my house we discuss where we're gonna go to eat. We name off a bunch of places like T.G.I.F, Olive Garden, Applebee's, etc. He says those are too expensive and suggests BURGER KING! After expecting to go to somewhere decent to eat, we ended up going to Burger King, which I hate by the way!

Sixth, he is very cheap! For example, we occasionally go to Buffalo Wild Wings on Thursdays for there 50 cent boneless wings. He will come along and only order a pop! When even come if your not gonna get anything to eat! Another example is we went to Denny's last week and he got a piece of cake and a pop. Then when we left he didn't even leave a tip! I ended up throwing in an extra dollar for him because I felt bad for the waitress.

No worries. When people go away to college they pretty much start their life over. You will make all new friends who are much more like you than your old friend. When we are young we get thrown together with kids who are in our same grade for years or live on our block. If you go to a big college, you will meet hundreds of people and pick friends that have a lot of new stuff in common with you. Be kind to your old friend for now. In ten years you won't remember his name.
