John Cena is one of the big-names in the wrestling business, not just the WWE. People want to know about him and how he's doing.
If anybody is being shoved down our throats, it's Randy Orton. The man is still on the "injured list" yet he is back and appearing in several segments each RAW (none of which are wrestling segments), cutting the same promo each time. "When I get back, I will be the Champ again".
This is WWEs promotion tactics! We have seen it for years. It will happen no matter what! They have done it in the past and for some reason it sells TICKETS! Hmm... when will John Cena return??.. the next pay per view!!
Well according to last night's Monday Night Raw(10/13 edition), they said Cena returns next week on Raw. So, that's when he'll be returning. I've never been big on Cena, he's entaining to watch, but I've never felt that he was a good in-ring wrestler by any means. However, the WWE is in desperate need of a major face to lead the company, so his return couldn't happen at a better time.

As has been stated by others, the WWE has done this when other top stars were injured we saw footage of Triple H's Surgery, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle and many others. Since John Cena is healthy enough to fly thousands of miles across 15 time zones, I guess he'll be back in time for the Survivor Series.
i can smell it coming, john cena will return and maybe win the world heavyweight title.
i give credit to the man though instead of staying in hospital he wanted to be at raw, now thats passion whether wrestlings fake, passion is real.
Yes I agree the WWE always do this with their big stars. I don't know if you remember last Summerslam they started running promos for the returns of Triple H and Rey Mysterio about 10 weeks before they even came back.
