I figured out the OSD (on screen display?) has a button for menu, but when I press it, the system switches out of Full Screen Video mode and goes back to XBMC with the video playing in the bottom left corner. Is this what it is supposed to do? I thought it would go to the root menu of the DVD.

To get to the menu I just mapped the 880 menu button to the Xbox menu button. Pressing this button will bring up the on-screen transport control which you can then go to the menu button of the on-screen control to get back to the menu. As far as I know (and I've only been doing this for about a month so there's a good chance I'm wrong) there is no way to may a key to bring the DVD menu straight up without going through the on-screen transport menu.
Checkout this link. I asked a similiar question and a guy posted screnshots of his 880 setup.

The one thing missing is how to make the DVD menu appear once you have started watching a movie. I checked my keymap.xml file and Menu is mapped to OSD. What should I set it to to make the Menu button on my remote open the DVD Menu?
