I am thinking of no longer using my yahoo email account that i have had for almost 9 years, this is because it takes for ever to load; is there a way of getting my emails redirected to gmail?
No you can not get your mail redirected. You will have to inform your contacts of new address. Stay out of your account for 4 months and yahoo will delete due to inactivity
OR
delete all of your yahoo accounts go to: https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_use...
This will also delete your whole account. It is a package deal with all of your other yahoo accounts (360, IM, YQA, email, etc... ). Good Luck
i have been using it for 2 years and i find it very reliable. and i think that gmail doesn't provide good mail service. If u r talking of that yahoo takes forever to load then u must be usng the worlds slowest connection. whatever the type of connection is it loads at a glance. it might take a bit of time if ur using all new yahoo mail. try switching to the mail classic.
