I'd like to get some opionions on PHPA. We've been running it for a while, but it's hard to judge how much a postitive or negative impact is has on VB.
Also I know PHPA does some optimizations, but are we better off with just Zend Optimizer?

I've installed PHPA and I noticed a slight increase in performance I think, but I didn't benchmark before and after - so I'm not sure if it's just my mind playing tricks :]
I have to second Eva, it made a huge difference for us!

I use PHPA. Haven't tried Zend Optimiser......
The speed difference between them is minimal.
But if you can afford it and are willing to pay, go for Zend.

Note: You can't have Zend Optimizer and PHPA installed together. One or the other.
