I'd like to get some opionions on PHPA. We've been running it for a while, but it's hard to judge how much a postitive or negative impact is has on VB.
Also I know PHPA does some optimizations, but are we better off with just Zend Optimizer? IT流言终结者3:eaccelerator与xcache性能测试对比| 架构研究室:: 而令人奇怪的就是Zend Optimizer加上eA后反而性能下降 xcache使用zend扩展模式基本等于 . I've installed PHPA and I noticed a slight increase in performance I think, but I didn't benchmark before and after - so I'm not sure if it's just my mind playing tricks :] from my experience PHPA reduces cpu load by 25 - 50%!!!!
i use to have loads of between 2-4 after PHPA installed cpu loads are between 1 - 2.5 :) [wl-phplista] APC vs Zend vs PHP Accelerator:: Előző üzenet: [wl-phplista] APC vs Zend vs PHP Accelerator Nekem nincs bajom veluk, mindossze megjegyeztem, hogy a Zend > Optimizer milyen cuki kis cumo http://bors.hoszting.com/pipermail/wl-phplista/2001-December/014654.htmlHOME |
I use PHPA. Haven't tried Zend Optimiser......
The speed difference between them is minimal.
But if you can afford it and are willing to pay, go for Zend.

But if you can afford it and are willing to pay, go for Zend. Why is it better to pay a chunk of money and go with Zend, when the difference is minimal? I'm pretty curious to the why of this.
Zend Optimizer is available for free !!
i think they meant Zend Accelerator
